FOODIE NEWS

Fire-Kissed Neapolitan Pies & More

Wood-fired pizzas, hearty Italian classics, and a welcoming neighborhood vibe make Frankie & Fanucci a Mamaroneck standout.

Frankie & Fanucci’s feels like the kind of neighborhood Italian restaurant every town hopes to claim as its own. In Mamaroneck, the 800-900°F wood-fired oven is the star attraction, turning out blistered, thin-crust pizzas with just the right balance of char and chew. Beyond the pies, the kitchen leans into Italian-American comforts executed with care, from bubbling house-made lasagna layered with rich tomato sauce and cheese to generously portioned pasta favs. The warm, unfussy dining room invites lingering over a glass of wine, while the aromas from the oven set the relaxed tone from the moment you walk in. It’s a place where classic recipes, quality ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere come together in a satisfying meal.
